Morgan Spurlock made a self-experiment described at (with downloadable trailer) During the journey, Spurlock also put his own body on the line, living on nothing but McDonald's for an entire month with simple rules:
His liver values worsened so much that his doc tried to convince to stop. [CLICK HERE TO VIEW THIS PICTURE] [CLICK HERE TO VIEW THIS PICTURE] posted by knn |

It was pretty good. There were a lot of funny moments where you just laugh at the rediculousness of what he's doing. However, there were a lot of moments that were somewhat disturbing because you're literally watching a man eat himself to death. As mentioned above and in numerous other excerpts, you see him gain the weight and watch his health start to flag. posted by GP |

I saw this a while ago and quite liked it. But he was a bit specific with just how much info he gave you, like he made getting asked to be supersized 9 times seem like a huge thing... well he went to McDonalds 90 times and only got asked 9 times, pretty good considering it's there job to ask. posted by hungarian kid |

The McDonald's advert says the average customer would take more than six years to eat the amount he consumed.
"The film is slick, well-made and yes, somewhat annoyingly, doesn't portray McDonald's in the most favourable light," it reads. "We've always been famous for our hamburgers and our fries, but we wouldn't suggest that they are anything other than part of a balanced diet." The ad goes on to give details of healthy options such as salads and fruit bags, which McDonald's says is responsible for a 10% global sales increase. posted by knn |

What the hell is a fruit bag? Can't they just do Fruit? Nature took care of all the hard work, most fruit comes ready to eat. Why do we need a bag? or wait, yeah, it's cheaper than trying to grow the McDonalds logo directly onto fruit. posted by Marl64 |

How cheap? I don't think it's that cheap, it would be cheaper to put a sticker on the fruit. posted by Echelon |

Morgan S. Was there, that was pretty cool. After the movie he did some Q And A. That was fun. I thought the movie was ok, for those who haven't seen it you can see scenes where he is eating MCdonalds and telling jokes and vomiting. But in between you have these interviews with some people and I found that stuff pretty boring. So the movie is kinda 50-50; Not good, Not Bad. Just depends, if you are in to all that ''boring information that people want to share with other people''...because if you are then you will love this movie. But if you are into seeing people doing something like only eating Mc'donalds for a a month and totaly destroy his body and then vomit. Then you will love this movie... ...and if you like both the...well, you will love this movie... So yeah, it was O.K posted by Pawnatron |

It's a lame title considering he only "got supersized" when they asked him if he wanted to. But if it means he actually "got supersized" than it's OK I guess. . . . (cause he got fat!) posted by Echelon |

Yeah, I enjoyed this movie as well. It really wasn't that farfetched. There are LOTS of americans that eat fast food 2 meals a day. Wendy's for lunch, pizza hut for dinner. mcdonald's for lunch, burger king for dinner. etc etc etc I liked how he showed that it is possible to feed kids a healthy lunch at school and it doesn't cost more and the lowering of sugar/fat/caffeine calms kids down to a steady roar. I like how McD's nuggets come/came from chickens w/ too large of breasts posted by volonteshiva |
