It will also clean limescale from toilets (as per 18 - Kool Aid)

Baking powder (sodium Bicarbonate) is one of the most useful things to have in the house.

Freshen your mattress -
In the morning sprinkle with bicarb, brush in, leave all day.
In the evening vaccuum away.

Fat spills - sprinkle with bicarb, leave for a few minutes and wipe away with damp cloth or kitchen towel.

Stained Teeth - Brush with a little Bicarb and lemon Juice (NB this is abrasive and corrosive so not every day eh?) as an cheap alternative to "peal drops".

Cardboard is a very fine abrasive, good to polish up metals.

i don't know many of these

lily pollen can permanently stain fabric...if you get it on your clothes do not rub it in...get sticky tape and stick it onto the pollen and lift straight off to remove it without staining

one everyone should know...vineger cleans windows better than window cleaner...dilute some in water

alchohol cleans the laser of cd players and dvd players well

glyserol(from royal icing) and laughing gas(or nitrous for cars) that you can buy in auto shops... can be combined to make explosives...although technically you need a booster to get them to combine...preferably pure sulphuric acid

see if you can work out what it makes

bubble the nitrogen oxide substance through water...forming nitric acid

nitric acid + glyserol

nitri + glyser

nitro+glyserine======KABOOOOM

a little chemistry goes along way in the world...

how this make for happy easy houshold living i have no idea but that's what you get for getting me started

wasp sting and bee stings...one is acid and one is alkali...both hurt by burning at opposite ends of the pH scale...learn which is which and use dilute vinegar/bleach accordingly...if you get it wrong...itll hurt even more White laugh

My two testicles

Well, if you ever get gum stuck on your hair just grab an ice cube and hold it on top of the gum. It will become solid and therefor easier to remove.

Well since you've started White laugh

Aluminium (or Aluminum for those who don't know any better) and Rust makes Thermite

Pop a some on a car Bonnet (hood), light and stand well back.

It'll burn (technically melt) through the bonnet, the engine block, even the pavement - this stuff keeps burning until it runs out of fuel.
Although the reactants are stable at room temperature, when they are exposed to sufficient heat to ignite, they burn with an extremely intense exothermic reaction. The products emerge as liquids due to the high temperatures reached (with iron (III) oxide, commonly 3000°C or more). Thermite contains its own supply of oxygen, and does not require any external source (such as air). Consequently, it cannot be smothered and may ignite in any environment, given sufficient initial heat.

(It's also easier to make than nitro - it doesn't need the bath full of ice and is less likely to blow your arm off)

The Extension 'avi' was deactivated by an board admin, therefore this Attachment is not displayed.
