 The resto f the year for xbox is gonona bring some kickass games. including Halo2, fable, the chronicles of riddick,doom 3, a new mortal combat. Many more are coming out. im really excited about fable and halo 2. A new Star Wars KOTOR 2 was anounced. that game will kick butt. starcraft Ghost will be awsome too. what games are you guys looking forward to. maybe not just xbox. tell me about them. posted by Agent Zero |

 HalfLife2 and Stalker on pc will make everything else look shit, just make sure you have a killer rig to run them. Halo2 and Kotor2 are ones i really want for Xbox. posted by Crossfade |

 right about halo 2 but as for kotor 2...im not a fan of the first one...i prefer the jedi knight series(jedi academy on x box if your intersted) games on all formats im looking forward to mmm grand theft auto:san andreas the new perfect dark gran turismo 4(played the pre release that's just out...top stuff) the new metal gear(just got twin snakes for gc and completed it already) kill zone driver 3 posted by the anomaly |

 did anyone else hear about them holding off on the next gen consoles like ps3 and x-box2 so they could hone their programming on the already known platforms? that's when the good games usually come out, after programmers have had a chance to get good with a certain platform, and not having to learn a new one every other year...i support this...is anyone else tired of buying a new console every couple years? why not just make upgrade chips or something so you don't have to all the time? oh wait...money  posted by The ONEder Man |

yeah, isn't it because the market was so competitive that they made a lot of cuts on the console price? i read that when they sell an xBox for $150.. roughly the going rate at the moment.. they are losing around $200-$300 for each unit.. so they won't want to change it anytime soon because they need to keep the console out there to cover the costs through their game sales, which is where all the money is.. also there was that blunder when someone leaked microsoft's plan to cut xBox prices, forcing them to make the cuts earlier than scheduled to avoid losing out.. extending the console life should make it easier for games developers, which will hopefully result in better games.. posted by wAkE_uP_nEo |

I'm talking about the savegame exploit, certain games when saving create a buffer overflow in the xbox. You can then install onto the harddisk a new OS that's been 'writen' by nice people who want to let you play copies of games posted by Crossfade |
