»Wrongfully convicted man ordered to pay for his time in pris«


Today on the BBC news i watched a story that just about made me vomit

it was about a man who was wrongfully convicted of manslaughter and was let out of jail in 1998 was today ordered by the home office to pay money towards his stay in prison

the man has won little compensation for the ruining of his life,the collapse of his marriage and the removal of his freedom for 11 years...

is this the ultimate insult by a greedy government to a man with so little left in his life

as soon as i find the story i will post a link

Misthinking


I know from many such cases that putiting you wrongly into prison doesn't make you a lot money. Maybe you can expect to get 10 USD per day spent falsly in prison
