»Why does rock suck so much?«

Does anyone agree with me on this: Whenever I hear a rock cover version of a non-rock song (Smooth criminal, 99 red balloons), I think the rock version sucks.

I like rock, but it always seems they just release a rocky cover version for kiddies.

I agree

Agreed, Smooth Criminal was shit, and they are allways a bit kiddy. Rap covers of rock songs are normally pretty bad too (YOU SHALL BURN P DIDDY.)

You should check out Van Halens covers of 'Pretty woman', 'you really got me' and 'Dancing in the street' to see what proper covers should sound like!

Cake did a cover on "I Will Survive", it's just one of the shittest cover songs I've ever heard! Set your George Michael free

I suppose...

...you haven't heard The Bates' version of "Billie Jean" or Orgy's version of Blue Monday.

My god, those two songs are definitely the best two covers I've ever heard!

Thumb Up
