So many people are falling victim to these that I thought I'd offer some help. When your system gets invaded you naturally look for help on the Net or from a mate or whatever, but sometimes fall short because you are one of the first to get it. forum.gladiator-antivirus.com... is where you should go. This site has in-depth help on how to prevent and remove such pests, but what makes this site special is the interactive help. If you can't find the answer on the board, you create a thread describing your symptoms and someone will guide you through tracking down and removing the little blighter. They have links to free software which you can run and then post the logs - they will sift through the logs for you and identify possible causes. They helped me - And I do this for a living - they can help you. posted by Marl64 |

Ok, now lets look at how bad this gets. The Software recommended on security site is called "Hijack this" This is good software, I've used it. - but only get it from that site. If you google "Hikjack this", the top entry is this link noadware.net... which looks promising (WARNING - DON'T GO THERE UNTIL YOU'VE READ THE REST OF THIS POST) The page contains images like this.
and offers free software to help get rid of the problem. BUT If you install this software on a protected system (such as mine) you get a message (which I've attached). I don't know what happens next, I was a bit dubious of the Vendor - "SCAM.Enigma.NoAdware" So I wouldn't recommend installing this (like I said, I do this for a living so I have to investigate these things) [CLICK HERE TO VIEW THIS PICTURE] posted by Marl64 |

That's why there is Kazaa Lite ♣. It's a hacked version of Kazaa without the spyware. A few megabytes less. That alone already shows you that Kazaa is packed with spyware. posted by knn |

There are different versions of Kazaa Lite. I think the developers split and everyone continued its own version. posted by knn |

replying to marl about adaware accusing noadware of being malware and offering to remove it i installed both when i first had trouble with spyware and noadware gave me false alerts about files like inetrnat.exe (the language indiciation utility in win2k) i use arabic langauge ,so when i decompressed the original file again for windows cd i found out it has the same filesize meaning the alarm is false and this wasn't the only one, bearing in mind that noadware asks for purchase before it "removes" "malware" from ur pc the truth is obvious like sunrise i also ran into similiar cheating applications -for further reading about similoiar examples visit posted by darkane |
