 It is revealed in the movie, how the ghost-theory works. As Qui-Gonn is being named in the movie too, we should know how if he will be in the movie again 
however the movie starts when the WAR is still on, a big-ass fight, against the sepatarists (  )
You should have learned that Obi and Ani are hero's when they are done here. Ani is the big hero, cause he will kill Dooku  but Obi gets the reward and gets in the Jedi-counsil..

 cheers darthlord...a little bit of info that i didn't know(the obi wan getting onto the council) as far as i know...obi wan gets knocked unconcious in the fight with dooku(and possibly general grievous at the same time...maybe separate fights though) and anakin defeats them both...he gets annoyed at his lack of recognition and palpatine seizes his chance to lure anakin to the dark side by asking the council for anakin to be his body guard(after the staged kidnapping of palpatine seen in some of the pics when he is strapped to the chair)
