grievous

is fully cgi...to allow the fights to look realistic...ewan mcgregor fought against guys in green and blue suits(for green and blue screen stuff) so as to allow for proper light sabre contacts etc

here is what is currently available on it

as for actual

footage for the film with grievous

not likely at this stage as it will all be done in post production which is happening as we speak

all the cgi is being worked on now...including grievous

i would suggest watching the clone wars cartoons to see what he is capable of though...sticking to walls and weilding lightsabres with hands and feet...as well as the "grievous spin"

grievous

general grievous is the military leader of the seperatists as dooku is the political leader

he is described in the official site character listing as being a half droid half alien hybrid who is a master military stratagist and the greatest hand to hand jedi hunter/killer the galaxy has ever known...

in the clone wars cartoon shown in those clips above he leads a massive attack against the republic...a ship with 6 jedi aboard is shot down and the battalion of droids closes in around it...in the distance you see grievous raise his arm and all the droids cease fire...he says in a raspy voice..." i will give you one chance to die with honour" he then proceedes to slaughter the jedi except 1...

in ep 3 near the beginning he has palpatine "hostage" onboard the main ship during the battle in the atmosphere above corascant...obi wan and anakin are sent to rescue him...obi wan gets knocked unconcious during the fight and anakin faces and defeats both dooku and grievous by himself(possibly just grievous alone with dooku biting it elsewhere)

he recieves very little recognition for his outstanding skill in defeating the nemesis who killed scores of jedi during the clone wars...anakin becomes enraged by this lack of praise and palpatine(being the emperor) sees his frustration and in a ploy to turn him to the dark side,requests that anakin be his personal body guard...it is during this time that palpatine reveals himself as a sith lord to anakin and seduces him to the darkside by saying that only the power of the darkside can unleash anakins potential...this happens on coracsant when all the jedi(including yoda)but 1(master mace windu) are away fighting in the battles

windu senses the dark side coming from palpatines residence during meditation...he goes to investigate and is confronted by darh sideous and anakin...sideous tells anakin to destroy master windu and the first of the main jedi sabre battles takes place...anakin destroys windu and the emperor who has total command over the clone armies then spreads the command that the clone troops begin to exterminate the jedi due to an assasination attempt by mace windu...he instructs anakin to begin hunting the jedi down and destroying them using his newly found darkside power

he travels to naboo to tell padme that the jedi have turned against the republic and that he hsa been ordered by palpatine to find and eliminate them and that if any show up then she is not to believe them...anakin leaves for a remote volcanic planet called mustafar where a group of jedi are seeking refuge...shortly after he leaves,obi wan arrives on naboo...at first,padme does not believe obi wan but he eventually convinces her that anakin has turned to the darkside and gets his next location from him

he then departs for mustafar to confront anakin...unaware that padme has stowed away upon his starfighter

he arrives on mustafar after anakin has killed the jedi...he steps out of his starfighter where anakin has his back to him...already aware through the force that his master was coming for him...anakin says to obi wan in a sarcastic tone..."its good to see you again...old friend"

they have a discussion whereby anakin tells obi wan that he is the reason that anakin turned to the darkside to fulfill his awesome potential and that obi wan was unable to be a true master to someone as powerful as anakin...

as they are about to fight...padme steps out to confront them...anakin is so enraged that she has given his location to obi wan that he force chokes her.obi wan attacks anakin in order to save padme who falls unconcious to the floor due to anakins actions

the biggest sabre duel in starwars history then begins...master vs apprentice...

obi wan eventually manages to cut off a leg and arm in a superb moment of jedi skill and then force pushes anakin off the edge of the cliff edge and into the volcano...he recieves terrible burns due to the intense heat and as he lays there dieing the droids come down and take him aboard a ship...during the operation someone says to the emperor..."we can rebuild him...more powerful then before"...during the procedure it becomes apparent that anakin has died and that only the hate that remains is sustaining him...it is at this point that he becomes a sith...after he is awoken he is told that padme was killed after giving birth to a son. due to his action and with massive power of the force...he destroys the room he is in...only the emperor remains unaffected by the force he excerts...the emperor is pleased with this display of hatred...it is at this point that he tells anakin that he is no longer skywalker...but is now DARTH VADER

after obi wan defeats anakin,he takes the dieing padme to yoda and bail organa,present also is chewbacca who has helped during a battle

padme dies during the birth of luke skywalker and leia skywalker...

leia is taken by bail organa and will live her life as his daughter on endor...yoda is taken by chewbacca to dagobah to live out his life there...in the hope that the planets strong dark side aura will mask his presence from darth vader and the emperor...

the final scenes see obi wan taking luke skywalker to live with his uncle on tatooine...obi wan retires across the desert to watch over the one who will become the "new hope" for the defeat of the empire
