I did. Dropped 1100 on a new computer for the sole reason of playing MxO...well, that's not what I told my wife, but I think she knows anyway... posted by GP |

i didn't even own a computer to upgrade. i work 8 hours a day sitting in front of one playing on the internet...pretty much, blah! i had been saving for one, i needed one...kinda, so i went ahead and got one in december. my parents paid me back and said it was my christmas present, so i got lucky and didn't really pay anything for it. posted by allone |

The ONEder Man: if it's more than a grand then you are more dedicated than I. Meaning I need to buy a new computer to even be able to play this game. I wanna play this game like no other, but can I consciously buy the computer just to play? :whatwhenwherewhy:this sucks... I've already spent a fair bit to be able to play this game but it has been worth it. Upgrades - New graphics card, doubled my Ram, switched to broadband, and upgraded my OS, if I hadn't I would not have been able to play posted by zesja |

I'm not worried about my comp being able to play it, i know it can. I'm just worried about the game being good before signing up and i'm starting to wonder if it's actually that deep anyway posted by Crossfade |

It's up to you, man. I think it's plenty deep and it's a lot of fun...there are still a few bugs, but nothing too serious. But seriously, you've got 3 Matrix buffs saying how much fun they've had playing it and you're still wondering about if you'll enjoy it...what's the matter w/you? posted by GP |

Yeah i believe you guys when you say it's cool, i'm just worried about how much it will be to play the thing, i don't trust WB to keep the price low, they will see it as our 'privilage' to pay through the nose for their game. I really hope they don't as i wanna bullet time some agents baaad but if they do behave like that then they can kiss my custom goodbye posted by Crossfade |

I can see that...cripes, I think $15 a month is too much! But yeah, that is a big concern of mine, as well. Also, allone & I came to the conclusion that the game isn't ready yet. Still WAAYYY to many bugs that affect major aspects of the game. My advice: Wait a little while until they're ironed out, then "jack in" w/us... posted by GP |

don't get me wrong, i really enjoy the game. BUT if i am going to start paying $15 a month to play it, i want it to be playable. even though if you average out $15 into a 30 day month, its just the cost of a coke (canned soft drink for all you non-texans) a day, $.50. yesterday sucked, couldnt finish a mission, kept having to restart the game, my character would just freeze and i couldnt move him... i think i read that you get your first month free, not to sure about that one. if so, i hope that by the end of the first month it will be better. since it is live they may work harder to fix certain problems there are...atleast i hope so. my advice, since its to late to preorder, just sit back and wait for it. youll save some money, and we can let you know when it seems worth it. posted by allone |

zesja: Did you get it sorted in the end? I missed u well, yes and no. looking back on it all, it seems that if i am combat with an NPC and there are other NPC's around that are shooting at me, i freeze. after the fight, i still get the interlock combat display like im still in a fight, but its over...i cant move, can only stand there and be shot at until i die. i tried this one mission 6 times before i gave up on it and found out that others are having the same problem, i have to escort someone out of a fight to another safe location, but as soon as i walk in the door to find the guy, he gets shot and dies! i don't even have a chance to see him. at one time i went to log back in and got an error, something like "error response -15, missing file" i read the faq that said to restart if you get that...didn't work...until maybe the 20th try some miracle occured and it worked, and after that everything seemed fine...except that damn mission. ill be on again tonight, but again, it will be really late your time, so we wont get to play together posted by allone |

Marl64: - It allows bullet time in a multiplayer game.
I think it's the lesser of several evils and couldn't really be done any other way. they could just make the who;e game bullet time posted by blacksheep |
