..when i was younger i was indeed THE SHITFACED KING! but now i just enjoy the odd drink at weekends and get hammered at parties, not the other way around White laugh

whether or not in enjoy a 'binge' depends on what you count as a binge. I wouldn't call the amount I drink "binge drinking".

After 3 or 4 pints I get a bit bogged down. However, i tend to enjoy myself a lot more when I get drunk on spirits.

Spirits are dead for me

I don't drink spirits any more

Not for political or religious reasons, but because of a party in Dewsbury back in the days when the Atari 8-Bit was still "current".

The deal was like this - Me and a friend provided a box or two of disks, the owner of the house provided as much booze as we needed to stay occupied while he rifled through the disks. We had a lot of disks White laugh

Things that went missing without adequate explanation - four hours, the contents of several bottles (Scotch, Vodka and something blue he swore we couldn't finish), most of my stomach lining and several pieces of furniture. I learned something new, I guess

I could taste the booze for weeks and ever since the mere whiff of spirits and I go green.

Must be some kind of bodily defence.
