This exactly the format and methodology of a chain letter though it's probably more accurate to described this as a pyramid scheme. here212: This program is about helping each other! No, this program is about greed and the dream of easy money - the idea that for $5 you can get $shedloads is nothing more than that. It presumes that there is an infinate supply of people - there aren't It presumes that the people before you are honest - they're not. It prays on greed and gullability and it must not be encouraged. So in an attempt to burst this little bubble, here's how to cheat it. Set up three e-mail accounts, three paypal accounts and pop these in ALL the positions on the form, stick a finger up to all those who were gullable enough to fall for this before you and then send the e-mail to a thousand random addresses. Never send it to anyone you know or like as you are about to rip them off. Post it in forums as a solo post and pin it to noticeboards at (someone elses) work. Oh wait, no, that's what the last guy did

But look at this from the person who get's it second "There are three names on the page" - hang on, there's only one guy so far, where'd the other names come from? It's one of those things that has to be fiddled to start it off. Years ago I got one in the mail and it was all professionally printed and everything - it even included testimonials from people who've made a fortune. But just think about that for a moment... You add you're name to the list and send it on, it's gone now onto the next person and it has to go on four more times (the one in the mail had five names) before you get a dime. How do you add your testimonial to it when your fortune rolls in?

You get $20,480 Seems straight forward enough, soon we can all be rich. Until you spot the flaw. So lets break it down - To keep it simple, we'll stick to 16 mails each and no rejections. This gives an expansion factor of 4096 for the time between you paying and being paid. 1 - The guy who you sent your $5 to, his original mail led to you, but by the same formula also reached 4095 other people. At the same time you get paid out, so do they. When this happens, the total number of people paying out in this chain is 16,777,216 (4096x4096). 2 - The people who send you (and the other 4095 mentioned in part 1) the $5, are expecting a return on their money too.
