moderate kid. usually extremists on both ends on the political spectrum annoy me. i have no problem with people who stand firmly as a "liberal" or "conservative" (whatever those mean) if they have adequate reasoning behind their stances, even if i don't agree with them. but extremists... bah

politicians who call themselves moderates are blech though. flip-flopping every two seconds isn't my idea of a good politician (are there such people?). as my friend says to the moderate politicians, "doesn't your ass ache from straddling the fence for so long?"

i thought being a moderate meant that you had different views on towards the middle but on different sides of the political spectrum, but i guess that's a different option here...
