Marl64: but the word is something like Mariquito.
...Like Pendequo (again spelling questionable) Chuppa-Poya and Halli-Poya Maraquita Pendejo Chupa Polla Huele Polla pelando la banana (this one is funny) Gazo en tu leche I'll post the translations later, good luck with your Google translation tools It is sometimes quite interesting living in spain... Pollo (pronounced Poyo) is Chicken, polla (Poya) is a rude word and Baraquito is a coffee... So you better be carefull when ordering a Chicken sandwich and a coffee posted by Marlbro |

I am amazed, since I came to the USA when I saw so many people intesed in learning spanish. Usually in the T.V. in the movies you see Americans learning Fench. Well, At a University where I attended, they have a program which consist in contact people of differents cultures to practice the a forieng languaje. We, the latins used to have a lot of people interesed to be our "conversation partner", you talk one meeting spanish a another English. The rest of the students of other cultures used to have trouble finding one. If you have a university where you live in, it could be a good alternative to practice a foreing languaje and to learn about other cultures. Very nice experience! posted by xname |
