 Yeah Hero rulz, it also came befor Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon! The first version of Hero I saw was a dvd rip from china that had been fan-subbed, great quality but I had no idea it hadn't been released here yet!

 I went to "Hero" the other night...FUCKING UNBELIEVABLE! Without a doubt, this is the best movie I've seen this year. This movie makes "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" look inferior...and "CTHD" is one of my favorite movies. I also just saw "Man on Fire." Another fantastic revenge film. There are some real innovative filmmaking techniques and Denzel is just a pure unadulteraded bad muthafucka. Without a doubt, his character Creasy, is one of film's biggest badasses! It's funny you started this topic on "Hero" because yesterday, I just made a post about how awesome this movie is.

Hero was released in 2002, my bad, I got it in 2002 and someone gave me some misinformation to think it was released around the mid nineties! My bad!

 I saw Hero at the Jerusalem film festival of 2003, or thenabouts. It was such a good movie - I think it's better at first viewing, though. The way the plot unfolds was the best thing about it, I think, as well as the stunning visuals. Btw, is anyone else here a fan of Miyazaki? posted by Sharaith |
