no gospel music is gospel music...music like third day or another christian band would jsut be christian contemporary music.

I guess I must listen to the exact opposite of that kinda stuff, I mean like AC/DC (Highway to Hell, Hell's Bells, lots of songs about sex), Rammstein (lots of songs about murder and sex,) well pretty much anything considered rock or heavy metal I guess! But I do listen to ol' Marley with his constant Lyrics about Zion!

I have listened to some Gregorian Chant, it's kinda cool but pretty much all the same! Nothing I wanna get What the...?

straight into unless people can recommend some stuff!

Alot of monks in this genre are just cool technical wise. Many can sing two+ notes at the same time. cool vocal ability

Gregorian is not gospel music, is it? The German group Enigma is cool though.

It probably doesn't fit the modern definition of gospel, but it is religious in nature to them at least.

I don't like people screaming and yelling just because they are allowed even when they have really bad voices and people jumping up and down and the whole shaking and preaching that goes into gospel. Big turn-off. It all seems like a bad high school chorus with way too may voices. Even the pros like the ones in the Blues Brothers or Dead Man Walking sound bad.

Hell no.

I don't like gospel...maybe because of where I live I have a certain image of gospel music and I don't like it.

I do like Enigma though...they were mentioned earlier, right? I was just listening to them.
