Not too sure what topic this would fit under, so here it is.
Just tonight on the Australian Big Brother, it was evictions and Merlin was evicted. There was no indications of what he was going to do. He walked down the isle to the stage where he was gonna be interviewed, as he did he put black duct tape over his mouth a pulled out a small sign/something out. The writing on it was hard to determine but as he sat down (without speaking a word) he straightened it out. It said "Free Ta Refugees" (the H had fallen off) and had a drawn barbed wire in the corner. He sat there, not saying anything as the host freaked out. The quickly went to commercial and after the longer then usual commercials, it came back with a stage bare of him but still the host. No explanation of where Merlin was, but it was obvious the outrage it had caused. The audience rowdy with boos and cheers with every statement of the host who was growing ever more annoyed. The host then queried the houses still current occupants and they had no idea what she was talking about and then after her full explanation (excluding what they'd done to him) they all started to cheer him on.
Best Big Brother contestant ever, of all the dozens of contestans he's the first to make such a bold politcal statement, and he should be congratulated for it AND the message. If no one understands what he means by "Free Ta Refugees" do a bit of research into the Woomera Detention Centre.
MERLIN RULZ!
