What capacity do you need? I recently bought a 128 MB Dell USB Memory Card for US$55 dollars and it's one of the best ones I've seen. posted by Echelon |

I have a 1GB microdrive and a USB card reader (that can also read the microdrive). That is what I would buy: A reader (for all kinds of cards). They are pretty cheap (but bigger of course than a simple USB stick). posted by knn |

how much bigger bearing in mind that it will have to be used at home and taken to the university library to continue use its also most likely that most of the files will be simple text files as in essays for classes so im guessing that the memory requirements may not be to big and given that im a poor student im not looking to pay much over £50 for one posted by the anomaly |
