The main reason, according to snake experts, is that snakes begin swallowing their prey at the head and with humans, the snake is confronted with a major obstacle when it gets to the shoulders.  I was infatuated with big snakes when I was little (Anacondas, Boas, just general pythons) and as result I've even petted a Diamon Head Python (fucking huge) and read a factual book when I was little about animal attacks. There were these two brothers who loved animals, and just kept buying them. Eventually there house was full of em. And of these animals they had a python. Theyd feed the python chickens, but they forget to feed it once and it ate one of the brothers. I'll see if I can find that book, there were some great stories in it (some pretty full on.) posted by hungarian kid |
