Connery is just Bond full stop, Brosnan is a great Bond, pity we will probably never see him again now. Lazenby was pretty good, hard edge but with some dry humor, very Connery actually.

None of the above

Well actually, It probably would be on of the above, but felt it only fair to point out (once again) the omission of

David Niven
Peter Sellers
Terence Cooper

Who all played James bond as well as

Ursula Andress
Daliah Lavi

Who played 007 Shocked

in imdb.com... - which incidentally was the first Bond Book Written.

It's just that I happen to like the film and feel it is unfairly missed out of many Bond Discussions.

I also use it to F#Ck with people stupid enough to use Bond questions in a pub quiz White laugh

Quizdude: "How many people have played the role of James Bond?"
Normal Pub Grunt: "Erm? Five"
Smartarse: "At least Eight"

Not your typical Bond Film

Well for starters it's a comedy. I learned something new, I guess

The Idea is that "James Bond 007" is a job, rather than a person, so they have a few people in the role. If James Bond gets killed or too old, they replace him.

David Niven is Sir James Bond, the original but retired Bond, he prefers the traditional approach and resents the guy who replaced him "That Sexual Acrobat who leaves a trail of Beautiful dead women like blown roses behind him". He also hates the gadgets "You lot are like Joke-shop spies".

Anyway, agents are dropping like flies, so they try to convince him out of retirement and when he refuses, they blow up his house.

The bad guys "Smursh" which is almost entirely women Very Happy set out to destroy him, by first seducing him, then trying to kill him in various ways - Exploding Clay Pidgeon, Exploding Milk Float, and the rest.

Then it kinda just gets plain wierd.

Not to everybody's taste, but certainly a Bond Film.
