Good films i've seen recently... The Terminal Collateral The Village Bad films... ALIENS Vs PREDATOR IS SHIT! i really urge you to avoid this awful bastardisation of two great screen icons

 The problem is that movies nowadays are produces for the biggest market there is: "The mainstream" ( You have to pronounce it like introducing a king or a famous boxer just before the fight... "Thaa mainstreeam") Like music nowadays: Everything is kind of good but also kind of bad. posted by knn |

 Yeah, "Alien vs. Predator" is just an utter piece of garbage. I have a rule to never walk out of movies...but I was close on this one. I also rented "The Punisher" the other day...uh, it's OK, I guess. You can tell it's based on the Garth Ennis versions, which sucks because I've always thought he was the weakest of the Punisher's writers. On a good note, I went to "Hero" the other night...FUCKING UNBELIEVABLE! Without a doubt, this is the best movie I've seen this year. This movie makes "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" look like pants...and "CTHD" is one of my favorite movies. I also just saw "Man on Fire." Another fantastic revenge film. There are some real innovative filmmaking techniques and Denzel is just a pure unadulteraded bad muthafucka. Without a doubt, his character Creasy, is one of film's biggest badasses!  posted by GP |

I was really looking forward to it *sob* Look at it this way, my friend thought it was quite cool, but he thinks Terminator 3 is 'very good'  It has it's moments and there are two very gory disturbing scenes which should be in an 18 rated film to be honest. But i'm sorry, i just kept thinking 'power rangers with acid' afterwards
