Pawnatron: And I am sure noone agrees with me. Hmmm well I certainly don't agree with you. The music was cool, the dialogues were fantastic, the action was amazing and it kept me on the edge of my seat from start to finish in both movies. Possibly my favourite movies ever. posted by fatpie42 |

Quote: I lost all my respect for Tarantino when i saw Kill Bill Whether the movie is bad or not is one question, but whether the Uma Thurman is a miscast is another. I should make a new poll: Worst miscasts. posted by knn |

I couldn't imagine anyone else playing Black Mamba, just like I couldn't imagine anyone other than Keanu Reeves playing Neo in The Matrix. Who would you have put in Uma's place? posted by fatpie42 |

But Kill Bill...is the splatter stuff supposed to be a joke or is it supposed to be cool? Like that scene when this guy is really angry and then then woman from ''Charlies Angels'' chops his head off and blood shoots out of his neck. Man was that stupid or what? I don't think they could have made this movie good with any actress. posted by Pawnatron |

Look why don't you start naming some crummy films you really like so we can start taking the mick out of those? Do you like Blade Runner or Edward Scissorhands? I could take the mick out of those piles of sh*t all day long! posted by fatpie42 |

Kill Bill was made to have a comic book and spaghetti western style. Heh, the blood splatters and sprays could be considered dark humour aswell. The chicks name is Lucy Lui pawnatron and I think she should be recognised for her first film where she acted well. posted by hungarian kid |

I could probably go on all day about crap movies aswell (Predator 2, Mortal Kombat 2) but I'd rather say "HEY, BLADE RUNNER WAS PRETTY GOOD!" posted by hungarian kid |

Blade Runner was appalling. It was boring, nothing happened. I don't like most movies by Ridley Scott. He's a horrendous director. He destroyed Hannibal with his dreary slow pacing. The only film that ever suited Ridley Scott's style of direction was Alien. So that's great - he can do B movies. Blade Runner was like alien only after taking out the alien, mother and any decent acting. posted by fatpie42 |

Nah, I thought Blade Runner was good. Saying that is like saying "2001 was like Clockwork Orange with out the nutty English guys and distinguished acting" Some movies are slow, yeah, but you can still enjoy them. E.g. Akira, 2001 Although I'll agree some of the acting was annoying in Blade Runner, the nutty redneck with all his machines ruled. And the replicant leader ruled. "*OH I'VE GOT HIS HAND, YES! NOW I CAN DO MY THING* This little piggy went to market" "AAARGH" HA, and running across the roof holding a pidgeon he just happend to pick up. posted by hungarian kid |

Crossfade: ..is a classic, style, pace and dialogue are fantastic for it's time and still work today. It's 'time' is not really that long ago. Actually the only really good piece of dialogue in that movie was written by Rutger Hauer and was not originally in the movie. I think it would have been a far better movie if they let Hauer rewrite the entire script and, what the hell, let him direct it too! Akira was far from slow-paced. As for Clockwork Orange, what a pile of rubbish (then again, movies based on books rarely live up to the expectations). posted by fatpie42 |

Well I've only actually seen parts or Orange so I've still got a chance to save my self! Whats the book called? Clockwork Orange or does it have an alternate title? posted by hungarian kid |
