A copy of the final settlement Michael Jackson made to a boy who accused him of molestation in 1993 reportedly shows Jackson set up a trust fund worth more than $15 million, MSNBC-TV reports.
The papers, which were signed by Jackson and his then-attorneys, Johnnie Cochran and Howard Weitzman, in January of 1994, show that Jackson agreed to set up a $15.3 million trust fund for the boy, as well as pay him a seven-figure lump sum. [CLICK HERE TO VIEW THIS PICTURE] posted by knn |

I just wanted to point out, that paying money to end the trial does not mean that Michael Jackson was guilty. It just proves that the accusator was willing to shut his mouth for money. posted by knn |

Basically if you are going against Jonny Cochran you are going to lose. If MJ has 23 million to spend then you are not going to win the case. The reason he accepted the 23 million is because MJ needed the bad publicity to stop. He needed the charges to be dropped. The boy and his parents knew that they could either come out of the case a lot poorer and with nothing - or they could come out with 23 million. What could they do? posted by fatpie42 |

Actually, I don't like the whole 'Innocent Until Proven Guilty' thing, the way I see it he's probably guilty of doing something but the parents took it the wrong way and saw the perfect opportunity to reap millions of dollars out of him! And he's either guilty or innocent, he can't be innocent because people can't prove he isn't! He is infact, a complete idiot! Didn't they have to kill that monkey or something? posted by hungarian kid |
