»Man on the moon«

I recently watched this and thought it was cracking, for those who don't know it stars Jim Carrey as comedian Andy Kaufman, more known in the Uk as playing Latka in the Us sitcom 'Taxi'

The film basically shows Kaufmans rise to stardom and his almost 'extreme' sense of humour.

I think it's one of Carrey's best films and i recommend it to anyone.

I've been impressed with Carrey of late, he's turning into a fine actor, always enjoy his films Thumb Up

Actually...

I never saw Taxi, but I saw Man on the Moon a few years ago and it's actually one of my favourite movies. Mainly because of Kaufman himself, he drove a taxi (bit of trivia) for a living at one time but that has nothing to do with why he's so cool. 3Tooth

Just his general comedy and pranks were brilliant and this is indeed one of Jim Careys greatest roles.
One thing I love about this movie is how it deceives you just like Kaufman did (e.g. Kaufman and that wrestler (how could I forget his name, I used to watch some of it))

Another bit of trivia, there's a company in GTA Vice City called Kaufman Cabs. Cool

yah, Jerry "the king" Lawler is the wrestler. and i did not like that movie. jim is better in non serious roles and courtney love was in it...she is the devil
