can i request another choice?

how about in doing the right thing i try to choose what is right for everyone/ all involved?

and

in addition to I "always" "never" do the right thing involed, how about i always TRY to do what i believe is the right thing to do in a certain situation? that means you do what you believe is right, but may end up not being right

1) You are mixing 2 polls here
2) Define family. Is it my children or my parents? Or both? Big difference.

I mean Immediate Family eg, spouse, father, mother, children, brothers and sisters and if you don't have any of those just someone who you would class as family.

Because then 3 max votes may be too little

Wrong answer. There is a complete difference between "doing something for gradma" and "doing something for one's wife". Make a different poll option for that.

too many options

I think knn is right, it does look like at least two polls mixed.

One should be something like "What the "Right Thing" means to you" into which would go first five options and maybe something else.

Another one about making decisions: what do you take into consideration when choosing what to do. Or something like that.

I don't really mind the poll as it is, but it's a bit confusing.

There actually could be another poll about what you think people mean when they said "He did the right thing".

Listen, this "Right Thing" is so vague a term... The only option that looks good for me is "I am clueless" which might as well explain why I am writing all this. Smile

Ok, theres obvioulsy loads of different interpretations of "doing the right thing" so I Know what you mean. I'll try and phrase the poll a little better.

Family is a general enough word isn't it? Can't it just be taken for what it is? otherwise there would have to be a poll within poll for every single poll question there is in a poll Screwy TV

If not just pick " For me doing "The Right Thing" means something else or a combination of the above? and state your answer or where you draw the line between different people and things.

Family has a double meaning. It's not too general but too multi. Thus specify please.
