I'm on a diet at the moment, have been for about 4 weeks. I've lost over a stone and I feel so much better for it. I have stopped eating all the chocolate, crisps and cakes.. I'm eating healthier..salads, pasta and such. I don't eat most meats only chicken, and I very rarely eat chips. I'm also getting much more in the way of excersize...it all helps! I need to lose another stone and I'll be happy posted by Another Smith |

The Topic...IS ALIVE ! Well then you are a sinner But I don't think it's good to eat pasta to loose weigt. Just stay away from sugar and try to eat allways on the same time. i think that is best posted by Pawnatron |

Pasta is infact a brilliant way of keeping yourself skinny, you just have to restrict your self from having meat with it. I am infact very skinny ( 6'4 and only 65 kilos) and all I pretty much eat is pastas and all that kind of Malaysian, Italian, Chinese kinda food. posted by hungarian kid |

I'm not skinny, I am a medium build. I put on weight because I was sat at my computer all the time, eating rubbish and not taking any exercise. All that has now changed, I'm eating healthy and getting exercise, boy I'm feeling good! posted by Another Smith |

well, I'm average in weight. although a bit short. unlike most chinese girls, who are either skinny as a stick, or fat as a hippo, i'm more of a medium muscular build...? i play tennis three times a week, now that summers here, i'm going to play four times a week. so yea...exercise is the best way to stay fit. posted by nocturnal_anonymous |

Quote: exercise is the best way to stay fit. Hmm, don't know. The best counter-proof are fat sports (e.g. fat boxers). Exercise is good to keep your body fit, but not necessarily slim. After you have trained A LOT and built new muscles THEN the muscle mass will keep you slim (because muscles are living tissue = need energy) posted by knn |

I'll have to go w/Zero on this one. Losing weight is a simple equation. Calorie intake must be less than calorie output. The best way to do that, exercise. posted by GP |

Quote: Not keen on diets or exercise, me. heh, most people aren't. but when you find a sport that you really like to play, you don't really think of it as exercise, more as...entertainment. o yea, and i've never tried dieting before. posted by nocturnal_anonymous |
