New York-As the fans chant whos your daddy after run number 3 runs onto home plate it seemsthat a comeback might be on its way but NO...the yankees are stopped in there tracks. The dreaded curse is finally over! after 86 years of not going to the world series the Boston Red Sox are going there. Starting on suinday at home! First pennant in almost 20 years! they made history today. i want to see them win! for all the haters out there who said it couldnt be done...suck my nuts. the NY Yankees suck! Not only that, but the Yankees were 3 OUTS AWAY! In game 4, all they had to do was shut 'em down w/Rivera (arguably, one of the best closers of all time) and couldn't do it. I've always been a fan of David Ortiz, but he's quickly becoming one of my favorite players. Viva Papi! posted by GP |

They have the #2 payroll in baseball behind the Yankees. However, if my team (Milwaukee Brewers) or like the Marlins last year beat them, then your statement is very true.
