Paul Van Dyk, and Tiesto have pledged their support to British troops serving around the world by agreeing to appear as guest DJs on the British Forces Broadcasting Service (BFBS). ‘The Paul Bunker Breakfast Show’ on BFBS Radio 1, will be broadcast live from Café Mambo in Ibiza on Saturday 17th September. Troops serving in Iraq, Afghanistan, Oman, Qatar, and Germany will get the chance to hear some extra special sets from the two superstar DJs. Chart-topping dance act The Shapeshifters will make an appearance, as will Judge Jules and Pete Tong. Even if they are in a sticky situation in Basra or Kabul, Her Majesty’s finest will still be able to have it large. Civilians can tune in to the show too - it will be streamed live over the net from 6am-8am (UK time). This way you can learn the differences in culture between the US and British soldiers. The US troops got Bruce Willis and UK troops get Tiësto and Van Dyk. posted by Echelon |
