Littlejohn

This guy is a total trog White laugh

He believes speed cameras are "an unfair way to trap motorists" I learned something new, I guess

His show is often amusing just from the point of how much he ignores and talks over his guests.

Think Michael Moore but with less brains and more volume.

Incapable of unbiased reporting, he's part of the fine institution that Britian has become What the...?

Institution as in "place full of loonies"

The discussion should prove interesting.

but he strikes a chord with many a brit...i find a lot of what he says regarding the labour party and their policies very interesting

he highlighted a majorly suppresed fact about the morcambe bay tragedy that was as follows

the government needed to reduce the number of asylum applicants...to do this they sent out a command through the police structure that no illegal immigrant was to be arrested...because as soon as they are arrested they apply legally for asylum ond go onto official statistics...

the police in morcambe bay knew of the exploitation of the chinese illegal immigrants by gang bosses yet did nothing to stop them or prevent the dangerous situation that led to a large number of the illegal immigrants drowning after being trapped by rising tide levels in the bay whilst picking cockles

and whats more...its still going on today

these are the kind of things that littlejohn puts across and he does so very frankly and doesnt alienate people with typical journalistic snobbery

as for incapable of unbiased reporting...that is the point...he is a social commentator in both his tv programme and his column for the sun...

both put across seroius points about serious issues...another of which i find infuriating is the rise of political correctness and the absurdity of the out of control health and safety executive(jeremy clarkson done a nice little piece about this in the sun today also)

i think his writings are humourous and tongue in cheek while still getting an alternative and controvertial point across...

he is a voice for many a working class brit who is unafraid of saying things that the left deem to be "offensive" to whoever and whatever organisation of political pity of the time

and you don't agree with his comments on the utter waste of huge sums of money by our government...he occasionally turns his column into a mock jobs page where he describes actual public sector jobs that had been advertised...one of which was an ad for a teacher of "english as a foreign language" and the ad has over 40 spelling and grammatical errors in it...very ironic and hilariously funny

unfortunately his friday article is no longer on the sun online site...but the link for his name gives a funny article on the first entry...the will self vs richard littlejohn one...classic

other guests include bush's "axis of evil" speech writer...just for extra info

its gonna be classic

..here's hoping that Dimbleby doesnt try to be his smug self and talk over everyone as usual. Looking forward to this show and hope it doesnt turn into a Moore bashing party

don't worry

as usual...there will be other lefties to back him up...and as usual...the audience will be full of lefties as well...it always is

for those of you who arent familiar with the format of question time...a small audience of about 100 people get to ask questions...some of which are preselected by the producers as being good debating points that the audience members thought up prior to the show...and other random questions on the same topic are put in by other audience members to grill the panel of "experts"

they usually cover 3-4 topics per programme...finished off with a humourous question about current events

very entertaining if you are politically minded...although ive found myself shouting at the tv on several occasions when ultra lefty socialists are on:whitelaugh:

Not saying i agree with Moore, just don't want the focus being on him and his 'fan fiction' film White laugh i want some good debate but i'm expecting a slanging match to distract the fact Bush is pants.
