fatpie42: Yeah, forget about the writer. Sure he has good ideas for stories, but all the best movies based on his stories (ie. the two mention by HK) have to be substantially changed from the original stories in order to be entertaining. Philip K. Dick's writing style is pretty poor.
P.S. fans of Philip K. Dick call themselves "dick heads"  (honestly! no joke!)Have you guys read the short story Paycheck? Because that's actually pretty good. PKD was a troubled individual; he had a lot of psychological problems that were unresolved. He actually quit writing science fiction for a time and wrote books about everyday life, just because he thought science fiction writers were weirdos. So that probably impacted his writing. He's kind of like the Hemingway of sci-fi; he had a great style, but he had so much confusion going on upstairs that he never really wrote a "master-piss", as Hemingway called them.  Agent Zero: gorsh dang, i just thought of something...does anyone remember collecting pogs? What in the world was that about? POGS? serisouly We had Pogs, cept we called them Tazos. You got them in packets of chips, and they were basically all Warner Brothers related, later on their were Star Wars ones and there were these ones for Cheetos with the Cheetos cheetah on them doing different sports. They kept going, last I heard they're onto steal Yu-Gi-Oh ones, well that's the last I heard... it's probably something completely different or not around at the moment. Yeah they sure are a waste of money, kinda regret buying the Warner Brothers ones... quickly got sick of it though I guess. Heh I used to like Predator 2, I watched it again and it was horrible.  Kupov: In grade 2 six years ago i used to like NSYNC omfg  its ok kupov, i was in grade 10 when i started listening to them...lance was my favourite. i have a story about that once...my two best friends and i skipped school to line up for 10 hrs to get tickets...then the day of the concert we went and we knew that J.C collected Hard Rock Café memorabilia so we stole a menu from there and wrote our names and phone numbers on the menu with like...dirty messages haha! and then we went into the venue (i forgot which one) and by luck we saw one of them (Joey Fatone's) mother because we recognized her from the magazines and knew that she toured with them so we gave it to her and were like...OH MY GOD! CAN YOU PLEASE GIVE THIS TO J.C! TELL HIM WE LOVE HIM SO MUCH OH MY GOD! hahaha then we watched the concert and left before they sang their last song so we could catch them coming out in their van so we jumped the fence and snuck into the underground parking garage and then they came out and got into their cars but the security guards were holding us back but we dodged him in time to run after the van as it was leaving and my best friend and i jumped in front of the van screaming I LOVE YOU JUSTIN! I LOVE YOU LANCE! LANCE! OMG! hahaha and the van had to break and the driver started cussing at us and honking LOL it was so great so they definitely saw us (the windows were tinted  ) THEN! we went home and of course had a sleep over and then at like 2:30am the phone rang! so were like OMG HES CALLING! so we answered it but whoever it was just hung up  who knows...it could have very well been one of them...
so that's my story!

Just looking at some of the things I posted here a while back makes me think "What was was I thinking?" . Anyone ever heard of SailorMoon ♣? It was the big thing for Asians, I suppose. I had a pack of shiny stickers that came in this container... it was my personal treasure... and I had a SailorMoon barbie doll too. And two SailorMoon picture books in Japanese... I would make up the meaning by myself since I didn't know how to read it (and still don't). They were pretty cool, but the story plotlines of the comics were the dumbest things ever created. Basically it's sort of like Power Rangers, except instead of idiots in jumpsuits and helmets, it's hot girls in skimpy outfits.
Speaking of Power Rangers, I used to like them too.  I suppose that's how SailorMoon came about my line of interest.

That branch of anime is like pokemon i used to watch both and would defend them whole heartedly when my uncle or someone would tell me the animation sucked...now looking back its just terrible, the characters move their mouths blink and jump around a lot ,its horrible. The anime on kids show networks YTV,etc is 67 frames per second when a disney cartoon (old cartoons not new computer animated but bambi and such) are 432 frames per second and your average today american cartoon, dexters lab, Invader Zim (i love invader zim  ) are about 160 frames per secondnocturnal_anonymous: Speaking of Power Rangers, I used to like them too I was never a fan, it just looked too fake even back then, I was however *cringe* a care bear lover the villain was so cool, i always wanted him to win but nope the care bears always kicked his ass What could he do against their rainbows from chest powers?

 Let's see: Heard of captain planet, the cartoon? Sonic the hedgehog rocked, still does (the old ones not this new crappy stuff). Anyone heard of Enid Blyton? Yep me two, something about how angry those comics make me is extremely compelling, i always read them if i am sick since my sister has at least two hundred but that does not change the fact that every character (with the exception of Dilton ) is retarded.
1.Moose should be in a special class since he cannot anser 16+5 or similar equations and has extreme difficulties in controlling his anger 2.Betty obviously has self esteem issues and probably would have shot herself long ago in the real world 3.Veronica would be a Paris Hiltonite, and would go and get fucked up everynight and be addicted to all sorts of crap I think they should seriously reconsider archie comics
