I AGREE: - That some people did not make any $$$ because they did not work hard. - That IXP.net (2BY2.NET) give you all the tools to be successful. - That IXP.net has up-to-date products. - That IXP.net teaches you a better way to look at life, yourself, and how to become sucessful person. -etc DESPITE WHAT OTHER NON-SUCCESSFUL REPS ARE DOING: I want IXP.NET reps who CLAIMS to be succuessful to ask themselves this question: How much money you ACTUALLY make from Commission (sales) VS. Recruit ** I gauranteed that some of you never make any money from commssion. ** I thought the goal of IXP.NET is to make commission every time people spend money online or on products. ** Please don't tell me you are STILL trying to build a customer base. IXP.net or 2by2.net is in the business for 4+ years. People are quitting left and right, so when do you think you will have a customer base? ** I applauded that you trying something new to move up in life but the first thing you found is not always the best. Like every other real sucessful people in the past - They ALWAYS distinguish between fact vs fiction regardless of how much smokes and mirrors are put infront of them. posted by was 2by2 |

Tonight i just went to a local star bucks to talk to some friends but they tried to sell me this product. Unaware of this company i searcxhed and found this board. Sadly enough, my thoughts were confirmed about this companies legitamacy. It's true that you have to work hard inorder to make money, but is it worth it to scam all your friends so some1 else can make all that money also? I will search around some more and tell my friends (s) to stop. posted by guest |

Okay – First off I want to let you all know that I’m not in any way affiliated with IXP, however, I am an optimist – I like to see things with an open mind and this is how I feel about this board: The Internet is full of Fools that claim they know a lot when in reality they don’t. I’m not saying IXP works or not – I personally don’t care. But one thing I do know is that instead of looking for advice on Forums to legitimize or confirm your thoughts about something – NEVER HEARD OF ANYTHIGN MORE STUPID. How do you know how legit or real these comments are…..? for all you know you are hearing from a quitter, and a person with a lack of integrity and character that will live the way they live until they die because they have no ambition or success mindset. I can come here and say that Bill Gates is a hermaphrodite – Are you going to believe that? There is so much Junk on here..base your opinions and confirmations on researching the industry with reliable sources like Entrepreneur, time etc…. “IF YOU ALWAYS DO WHAT YOU ALWAYS DID YOU WILL ALWAYS GET WHAT YOU ALWAYS GOT!” posted by guest |

The irony is that you are posting this advice... on a forum. So should we listen to you or not? If we do, we're guilty of what you're trying to prevent. If we don't, we might be doing what you want to prevent. The bottom line --- why the fuck are you posting on a forum if you don't like forums? posted by Tiefling |

you gotta love some of the tripe that people write in here here is a fact about pyramid schemes 1 person starts it...say they recruit 10 people to make a profit and tell each of those 10 people to do the same that 100 people...they each have to get 10 people 1000 next step 10000 100000 1000000 10000000 100,000,000 1,000,000,000 10,000,000,000 so after 10 levels there arent enough people on the planet to make a profit hence pyramid schemes are a total fucking con and anyone stupid enough to get caught up in one and loses all their life savings deserves what they get posted by the anomaly |

The idea behind the company is not a scam but if run incorrectly it can become a scam, like 2by2.net. Some IXP reps will scam, no doubt. Others are honest and tell the truth, it take work to make money. In fact it takes a LOT of work to make money. The rep that signed me up told me how much money he has made to date and how much his residual monthly check was. (after I specifically asked). He didn't make an outrageous claim, he told the truth and it was rather modest. He worked full time at it and made about 4,000 bucks...most of which he invested in company conferences and plain tickets. (conferences and plain tickets you don't have to be a part of or buy) Why do reps earn such a low average income? Why do so many reps not make any money at all? Simple, how many businesses fail each year? How many teenagers start a business? How many teenagers that start a business do you think would fail? Many sign up for IXP and do NOTHING and many sign up and do very little. that's not how you run your own business. It is not like you can sign up and get rich automatically. The representatives that tell you that are jerks, lyers and theives. Recruiting people is the fastest and easiest way to earn but the residual income from their products is the best way to make money long term. I would have never joined this company unless they had Voice over the Internet. This makes the actual sales end of the company feasible. High speed dial up is an oxymoron and the wave of the present quickly fading to the past. Don't judge a book by its cover though. Money can be made and not all reps are lying to recruit more people to make money off of signing someone up. (but again I can't imagine this company being worthwhile before voice over the internet) posted by guestt |

So i was asked to go to this meeting for some business thing. Ha! this sounded familiar. Earlier this year i was asked to do the same thing by someone i know and it turned out the same way. When i went i was told all this stuff and presented with this nonsense about making money. The whole time i was thinking why the heck am i here and my buddy there was probably thinking the same thing. Ixp tell you that you'll make money and all that crap but its a lie. There is no way of making money off of ixp if you are not one of the first people to start the business. During the whole meeting i found myself wondering how i would sell their product if i chose to do this and it turns out that you don't sell anything. They offer a product but really your profit comes from other people that you recruit. If you don't recruit anyone you don't make any money. Since when do we offer up our friends and family for some small amount of profit and yes i mean small because whoever recruited you gets whatever amount you get from recruiting. Ixp targets young college students who are either living off of financial aid or are have parents who make more than enough and have to take loans. Why the heck did they show nothing but young college students enjoying themselves in their presentation. When the presentation was over the reps tried everything they could to get me into their "business" until i gave up being polite and told them that this is bullshit. They reply by saying that I "have a misconception about their vision" what kind of bull is that. Seriously... the whole thing was lame and a waste of an hour and a half of my life... the best part about the whole thing was that i was able to observe how far the reps were willing to go just to get people to sign up. I enjoyed observing how they used many things to appeal to people's emotions and logic. The best part was when the rep inferred that college is pretty much a waste of time...meaning that you should waste your money on ixp instead of college. Cant believe they would actually come to a college campus and try to recruit college students by saying that a college education is a waste of time. HAHAHAHA I love to see this guy in ten years when he's dead broke and in need of health care. posted by Some College Guy |

I have a very friend who has just started up with the ixp.net. He has a web URL and a box of I don't know what -something sent in the mail- I'm worried. He is acting secretive and strange. Someone above said that these meeting tell people of a better way of life. And how to view their live's in a different manor. Does this include tossing aside friends that have been there for over 14 years? I am a very strong minded individual and I speak what I see. I see a change in this man -My room mate btw-that I can't even believe. Do they tell you in training to avoid strong minded people or what? Tell me in what ways do they try to make you see your life differently? How many meetings does one attend a month? How many of these said meeting are out if town? Because he would never get on a plane. T he man I am talking about is not a young kid in his 20's. He is 41 years old. He lost his job of 21 years last spring. I'm worried that this IXP might have targeted him for that reason. I would like to show him this board, but what proof do you folk's have? I have ask him about this subject he say's I don't know yet and avoids all attempts to question. Now he's talking about moving out, for no reason that he can give and it all started when he joined IXP. Could there be a reason? Kent posted by Guestkent |

...I managed (somehow) to get my name on some kind of mailing list for various "Get Rich" schemes and as a result I get offered plenty of similar opportunities. So many of these include testimonials from people who have become rich through such a scheme and therein lies the problem. Fred Blogs makes a gazillion dollars/pounds/euro or whatever and would now like to share the secret of this success with you. Why? If the motives are totally altruistic, why do I have to pay for this knowledge? If Fred is truly rich, then he doesn't need my few quid - just post the secret on the Internet. I've never bought into any of these schemes and so have often wondered if the "introductory pack" sent in exchange for my hard earned cash is simply this... Secret to getting rich Set up a mailing list offering the secret of success Get a few thousand people to send you a wad of cash for an intro pack Send them these instructions The End A lot like the way a chain letter works posted by Marl64 |

the anomaly: here is a fact about pyramid schemes
1 person starts it...say they recruit 10 people to make a profit and tell each of those 10 people to do the same There was one in the UK a few years back, I saw some of their literature and they suggested that you needed to get over a hundred direct "down-stream" agents to guarantee the highest band of earnings. In fact they suggested trawling phone books and such to do an initial mailsot to a thousand people. Suddenly the world gets a whole lot smaller the anomaly: hence pyramid schemes are a total funking con and anyone stupid enough to get caught up in one and loses all their life savings deserves what they get Amen to that. posted by Marl64 |

My buddy has been trying to get me to do this for a little while now...and well none of it adds. up. First of all you meet somewhere and then they drive you to the hotel meeting. That reason is simple. They say you can leave whenever you want. However if you can leave whenever you want, you would have to walk the distance back to your car. By driving you to the hotel location, you are stuck to get brainwashed. I am sure some people have made some income by this but I know unless you are in the top you don't make tons. I work in retail sales and my company does not make me pay for the product before I sell it. If you work at lets say Mazda, do the owners make you buy the Mazda 3 before you sell the Mazda 3 for profit? No. To sell the car do you have to recruit more sales associates so you can sell the car? No. When working for AOL or any other internet company do you have to pay x amount of $ to recieve a job and supplies to then sell the product. Not only that, do you have to hire or recruit people to work at AOL to get the money you spent back? No. In some work places you will get $ by recruiting people but you do NOT have to pay a sign up cost. In unions you do have to pay HOWEVER that is after so many weeks of work and you do get benifits out of it. I can not see any benifit in paying $450. Also this weekend they are supposed to be changing their name again... I hear. Hmm wonder why. ha. posted by Not-Stupid |

allone: hey guys from ixp.net...didn't it used to be called 2by2.net? why the name change to ixp.net? Just to let anyone who is interested know. IXP has changed their name again. They are now called Yor.net. They must be running or hiding if they have to change their name. If the business is successful you want people to know who your are and remember the name, not change it. Very suspicious. posted by worried |
