I knew some guys that got suckered into this and were brainwashed bigtime. They took me into this presentation several years back, when 2by2 was based in southern cali. It was in a big hotel auditorium, easily 500+ people. They were promising wages of 15k per week, telling people that going to college to rely on a decent income was a waste of time, and they had people jumping up out of the audience randomly agreeing and cheering (so cheesy). I had an advantage cause I was a little older than them and already knew companies like Amway. I had a really bad vibe, they were clearly targeting young kids outta high school, and had that cult like attitude. I reserved judement though (they told me that anyone that disagreed is negative and not the type of person they wanted to do business with lol!). At the end of the presentation, I heard enough, and wanted to get outta there. Clearly they were taking advantage of people. My friends told me that I could not leave until I paid them $420, and until I talked to their upper person (the one that recruited them). I then realized that the whole time we were locked in the room, and they had these big simoan looking dudes standing in front of the locked doors. This is where I lost it - I grabbed one of them by the shirt, and I said (loud enough to make my point) "Do you think he's enough to stop me if I really wanna leave?" They almost shit their pants lol - they started to panic, told me to calm down, that they'll talk to someone to get the doors open. I took it personal for a while, that they would put our relationship first over this chance for them to "supposedly" make some money. But now that I look back, I know that it's really the company's fault. They confessed to some of the tricks and tactics that they were taught. They were told to beg family members and loved ones, to not be ashamed and that we would thank them for it in the long run. That claiming big salaries is not lying because everyone technically has the "potential" to make that much. The bosses were driving lambo's with 2by2.net printed on the side (maybe they were rented I dunno). They were brainwashed, plain and simple. The problem is that the people doing the complaining are deemed as "failures", and the people that go on supporting them do so hardcore (they'll take a bullet for those fucks). posted by Cainzss |
