»The 2by2.net - IXP.net scam«

Hi, I would like some help from you guys in serching and finding more info on the 2by2.net and ixp.net pyramid scheme scams. These fuckers have recently started operations in Guatemala and want to rob people from their hard earned money. They even convinced my girlfriend's family members to join in spite of my efforts to expose them. They promise earnings ranging $5K to $54K a month. Yeah, you heard me a month! What the...?

But wait, it get's better...they offer all of this because their product is so good, and it's the thing of the future...and guess what? the product they're selling is accelerated dial-up internet service. Yeah, that's right...dial-up internet service! White laugh

I did a search on several search engines and found out that they were formerly known as 2by2.net, but had to change their name due to an $11 million lawsuit by the FTC (which 2by2.net lost), and all the bad rep on the street. Plus, FOX 11 News did an undercover investigation on them and aired what they found and exposed them as a fraud.

So, if you find any info please post it here, it will be greatly appreciated. If they are opperating in your country please tell me what tactics they use there. Thumb Up

Visit they're site and see that that they have nothing. Besides, they're telling everybody that the accelerated dial-up service is the future, when anyone of you guys know otherwise.

Pyramid Schemes

All Piramyd schemes are illegal. It's a pyramid if it is more focused on recruiting people than on the product...

So far I know no one that actually uses that dial-up service. I am happy with my cable, by the way.

I was offered to join, but I turned it down inmediately because it was simply too good to be true... It is possible that only the early birds get any money, but everyone else will surely have a small loss... and thank you, I don't want to join a business that is based on the losses of others...

My gf didn't join, but her mother and aunts did. They're already out by now, since I showed them all the facts about the "company". Since I told them like the next day they joined, they were even able to get their money back.

some stats on ixp

I got these stats off the ixp website when I did a mock sign up process online just to see if there was any different info given there then the people gave at the big hotel meeting where my friend tried to sign me up. This is a verbatim copy from one of the sign up pages, and it gives some really SCARY stats. Check it out.

3. THE NUMBER OF CURRENT IXP.NET DISTRIBUTORS WHO HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY COMMISSIONS, BONUSES OR OVERRIDES IS 2,289 OR 69.65% OF SUCH DISTRIBUTORS.

WOW! That means there are less than 3300 reps TOTAL worldwide in IXP, and out of those almost 2300 have not made a single PENNY!

4. THE MEDIAN AMOUNT OF COMMISSIONS, BONUSES AND OVERRIDES RECEIVED BY ALL CURRENT DISTRIBUTORS IN IXP.NET IS $0.00. 69.65% OF ALL CURRENT DISTRIBUTORS HAVE RECEIVED, IN THE AGGREGATE, LESS THAN THIS AMOUNT. 30.35% OF ALL CURRENT DISTRIBUTORS HAVE RECEIVED, IN THE AGGREGATE, MORE THAN THIS AMOUNT.

Imagine if they told us this at the hotel meeting! "By the way, 70% of us make absolutely no money at this." Check out the next one to see what is worse!

5. THE AVERAGE AMOUNT OF COMMISSIONS, BONUSES AND OVERRIDES THAT HAVE BEEN RECEIVED BY ALL CURRENT IXP.NET DISTRIBUTORS IS $738.31.

Hahahahaha. The average TOTAL amount of commissions when someone actually does get paid is only a little over 700 bucks. Sounds like big money to me! And that is over the last fiscal quarter, not per week or month!

After I saw this, I asked my friend why they didn't tell us about it at the meeting and he said he didn't even know this. he thought people were making a lot more. I guess they don't, becuase these stats came right from any reps website if you act like you are going through the sign up process. Try it and you will see to.

Has anyone ever even explained to you where the stats come from? Every study done has criteria and the information it displays is not necessarily just cut and dry this is it, there is always an explanation behind every set of statistics. And the whole thing about it being a pyramid scheme...well...let's see. Ok...do you work a job? ok...do you have a person that is on top, like a president and a manager? ok...and who does all the work? ok...and who makes all the money?...hmm...gee what kind of shape forms there? wow! it's a pyramid! oh my god, we are all in a pyramid scheme! You better quit your job before you get scammed...

Scam for sure

IXP is definetley a scam,I am a former member, after my steep $450 enrollment fee not to mention having to pay for meetings and such,I proceeded to sign up all my friends I made money like $1700 total in a little over than six months but to do this I spent at least that much if not more.None of the money I made other than a few dollars was actually from the service it was from recruiting people, this is the only thing they focus on,but they try to get you to think otherwise by jamming tons of psychological info in your head from many different books that you hear about every frickin time you are there, basically trying to make you not think about the fact that you are not making any money but you are expanding your mind and consciousness(spelling). The sad part about the whole thing is that alot of relationships get destroyed and people will never look at you completley the same because of it.

And the previous post to mine was a textbook IXP answer that they make you write down and memorize to say to any naysayers.(there a rebuttals to any Q? you could think to ask, they try to reprogram you to only think one way,and to be honest it worked on me for quite a long time)

Anyone looking into this company should definetley take a second thought cause trust me it is all BullShit. Thumb Down

Yeah, the recruiting of new members is the fastest way to lose your friends. This applies to every real world (= non-online) MLM system except for the "1 matrix line" (= where every member who joins AFTER you is credited for YOU, no matter whether you recruited him or not).

Yes they have a product.. but i still think its a scam

Hey whats up people i was just at one of their Meetings in a hotel by Cincinnati,Oh. Yes I do think that IXP.net is a scam. All of their presentation was about recruiting people and I asked about the products and they told me that they are dial up connection and dsl and cable accelerators.. And i guess they have a new product that's going to come out and only Aol and IXP will have it and they will sell it 60% less then AOL. But they all use tatics like...This is a converstation i had with one of the reps...

- so in your definition it's basically the person on top makes all the money right?
- and the people on the bottom put in all the work right?
- ok...i don't know if you sere paying attention to the presentation or not...but do you realize the company GIVES you $444 worth of product to sell but you pay only $300.
- you have a guy on top right? called the president
- and then underneath him he has a CEO and a VP and those VP's have their top people and those top people have their top people
- and those top people have their top people and...no way...it's a pyramid! and if you really knew business you would realize that the pyramid structure is the MOST stable and most effective form of business
- the $300 pays for the product! nothing else why don't u just give me the product and then i sell it
and if you work a job you do have to pay money...you pay for clothes if we just gave you a product that would not make sense...b/c take a store for example do the manufacturers just give them the product and say "here once you sell this you can pay us"
NO the store has to purchase the product and THEN sell it am i wrong?

- ok...if we were illegal we would have been shut down a long time ago...FTC keeps very close watch on network marketing companies and we have been around for more than a year and a half and have gone under investigation by the FTC, and if we were illegal we would not be here today
but that's all...you obviously did not and will not understand the concept of what our company is doing, and where everything is headed.

This is a scam... I don't know why the people that are doing all the recruiting has relized this.. I think they know that they are doing this, but they just want to make money..

Oh yea.. they were like Are you a A person or a B person or a C person... Basically they said if you were smart and take this offer you were a A person.. very smart and wants to make money... Thumb Down

funk IXP

Plainly and simply, FUCK IXP! Fuck em. They're a bunch of bullshitters, liars, corrupters, crooks, and fake enthusiasts of the worst kind. Exactly a year ago, a friend of mine from college dragged me along to one of these "hotel meetings" in western Massachusetts, and being a dumb college student in need of some quick bucks, I signed their stupid contract, pretty much because I was bored out of my mind at the time and wanted to do something where I could tell my friends "Look, think what you want of me but I'm doing this so fuck off", ya know, something that takes guts. And this is how I made the biggest mistake of my life, paying 450 dollars of my parents' hard-earned money to get myself involved in IXP's web of lies for the rest of the semester, the whole time thinking it was a "reasonable venture". What kind of shit did they make me do, you ask? Well, calling my friends out of the blue to ask them to join IXP's stupid internet service, which sucks ass by the way, using forced jargon that has bullshit written all over it, and spending 3/4 of my weekends at a stupid hotel cheering maniacally for random Asian dudes with names like Johnny Ly, Michael Mo and Dennis Wong, who claim to have SO much money and are talked about like rock stars but really just speak for 3 hours of total boring crap, and the representatives have the fakest enthusiasm possible. And also, chilling with "business partners" who claim to be "my new best friends in the world", even though if they didn't have my money they wouldn't give a shit about me. And all the time, believing I'd "actually make some money" the biggest lie of all. The stats speak for themselves, over 70% of people who enter IXP do not make a penny! If you look at the fine print, you'll see that from the beginning. If you look at.. BIG, flashy multimedia presentation, cheering crowds, a million metaphors of BIG success- that's how these fuckers fool ya. Once they have you, they don't let you go, and sucker you into events, trainings, and other boring shit where you hear the same fuckin' phrases and metaphors" like "Type A people" and "Locking Customers Down" billions of times, which equals a BIG WASTE OF TIME. And the meetings last pretty much all day, even when they tell you you'll be done hours earlier. They basically think of intense and complex ways to get around the fact that you're not gonna make any money and you've spent 450 dollars on pretty much nothing, like "peace of mind" "lasting friendships" and other shit like that. Please do yourselves all a favor and make sure these fucks don't get their way with you, because they can basically brainwash using psychological bullshit. They don't even read the "fine print" themselves, and do not even consider that there might possibly be OTHER people out there. And how did I get out of IXP? Well, they lied to me, so I just lied back and told them that I was gonna keep coming to their stupid events, and then just cut off all contact- stopped answering all their phone calls and stopped having anything to do with them. A year later, i may still be a dumb college student in some ways, but I'm a dumb college student who knows not to get myself into stupid bullshit just for the vague promise of some bucks. And lastly, FUCK IXP!
