 Is the US media biased beyond belief? Here a few key figures of something that one could describe as US propaganda machine: A study by pipa.org + university of maryland found out that the following WRONG statements were thought to be true 4x more likely by FOX NEWS viewers (than by users of non-commerical news sources as the National Public Radio or the Public Broadcasting System):

The odds are stacked against them (cnn viewers). Think about it. If all you hear is lies, then what else are you supposed to believe. Such news doesn't appeal to critical thinking americans. posted by liberal slayer |

 What does it matter? Six of one, half a dozen of the other. Either way, you're not getting truthful journalism. Fox News is right-wing biased & CNN is left-wing biased. Where is the outlet for people that fall in the grey area? It doesn't exist. The U.S. media is so biased in either direction that it's a joke. Trust me, I worked in the industry for 8 yrs. (just so it rhymed) I agree though, the media is biased and so it is our responsibility to get our news from both extremes and use critical thinking and our own beliefs to determine our own opinions. However...i think that fox isn't as right biased as the multitude of left biased news providers posted by liberal slayer |
