You know it's just on your phone, I mean as soon as they tell you who they are it's within everyones power to just hang up then! I don't know why people make up long bullshit stories or just bullshit when it's so much easier to just HANG UP! posted by hungarian kid |

Here in my home state of Wisconsin, we have a "No-Call List." If you sign up for this list, telemarketers, by law, cannot call you. For a while, they found loop-holes around it but those have since been taken care of. I haven't received a telemarketing call in about a year and a half...sweet. posted by GP |

what you should really do is keep them on for as long as possible before saying..."mmm...nah...no thanks"...listen to the reaction then hang up it costs them money here is a trick that they use have you ever had your phone ring and when you pick up the line goes dead...its not a trick call...its the telemarketers...they have one person dial 10 calls at a time and the first person to answer is the one the speak too posted by the anomaly |
