Most of you would have never heard of Billy West, but chances are you've heard his voice! Born in 1950, he used to do Celebrity Impressions on the Howard Stern show ( heh, in a Futurama episode Fry screams "Howard Stern is overrated!") His two most notable tv performances have been on Futurama and the Ren and Stimpy show! On Futurama he played Proffessor Farnsworth, Fry, Zoidberg, Zapp Brannigan, Richard Nixons Head, Leo Wong and alot of Extra voices! On the Ren and Stimpy show he played Ren, Stimpy and alot of extra voices! He also did the voice of Zim on the pilot episode of Invader Zim! A little belated, but I indeed agree that Billy West is a voice actor genius! He is quite a bit weird/eccentric in interviews though. Not that unexpected though. He will do a voice-over role and then you realize "Holy crap, that was him!" He is very good a drastically changing his voice. A good trait of any voice actor. posted by volonteshiva |

Billy West is my hero. He's definately got a quirky personality...but what do you expect? most voice over artists (and comedians, because he was a comedian aswell) have that whole ADHD thing going on. And, for the record, I find him rather attractive for a 50+ year old man. posted by Ethereal |
