Is George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic classed as rap/hiphop? Heh besides that, I think one needs to look at the rap that's not utterly mainstream. Like every genre, there's always something good. But it's not something I follow, I don't like most new rap, Aussie rap is just tedious to listen to. The only new rap I can really I say I like is the latest Beastie Boys album, and that came out a few years ago now. Ha and Gorillaz but they're not really completely hip-hop. posted by hungarian kid |

I think the sort of rapping to rock music what for example the Beastie Boys ♣ and Limp Bizkit ♣ does, sounds very good I also like "Drop it like it's hot" from Snoop Dogg ♣ right now, it's a fun song posted by a |

a: Limp Bizkit ♣ does Heh, I wouldn't put Limp Bizkit in the same sentence as Beastie Boys, it might insult some people. Durst really should've just done metal singing, I'll just say that. But good rock rap, then you want Rage Against the Machine, Public Enemy, Run DMC (used guitars) and some Beastie Boys. And to a lesser extent, Body Count. Body Count was Ice T's metal band (with some rap), they're actually pretty cool. posted by hungarian kid |

What i said is true: both bands are rapping to rock music, isn't it? It was actually not a statement to do with Genre, it was just about the bands. I like Method Man, well atleast the stuff I've heard of him. I've got a few Wu-Tang albums (all are alright except Iron Flag which is just shite), plus one of his solo ones, Judgement Day. posted by hungarian kid |
