If you only use MSN, then there's no point in getting Trillian. If you use any other messaging service as well, then it makes complete sense to get Trillian, because then you can log into both through the same interface, and have all your buddies for both programs on one list. Trillian is not a new service. It's simply a new interface to all of the most popular existing services. It lets you manage them all from the same window. I haven't tried Trillian, but I probably should as I have way to many messenger programs to keep track of. But Msn is my favorite posted by zesja |

zesja: I have also since downloaded Trillian Very Happy It even allows you to have multiple AIM,MSN,Yahoo etc.. accounts running at one time Thumb Up well, that isn't just "a" feature, it's pretty the entire reason for being for trillian. To allow you to not have to run 3+ different messenger programs. Not that anyone else here would use it, but Gaim(for linux) is pretty much identical to Trillian except that trillian has the cool feature of encrypting your im messages... posted by volonteshiva |

volonteshiva: well, that isn't just "a" feature, it's pretty the entire reason for being for trillian. To allow you to not have to run 3+ different messenger programs. I meant multiple AIM,MSN,Yahoo accounts as in more than one user ID for each medium. Like 2 or more yahoos at once, should you want to that is posted by zesja |
