Totally Awesome

Salad fingers is creepy and wierd and I daresay cute in a way, he is like a monster but he is always happy, and nothing bad happens, he sees the bright side of everything, and never sees anything wrong. Everyone is his friend. he doesnt do bad things to people. The author has the most creative twisted imagination, he is a genious. Thumb Up Thumb Up Thumb Up Thumb Up

David Firth

Look, it is a cartoon for god sakes. Let's see - Any parents turing the channel on the Simpsons when the cat and mouse do the "mutilation" thing? No? Oh, any parents monitor MTV lately with the sex? Or how about the NBC reality shows when the people start having sex with each other? Let's see...movies... oh oh oh...i got one. Man on Fire... 8MM... ummm... Friday the 13th... ummm... sex violence, disturbing images...i don't think anything by David Firth even comes close to most shit on the television or movie screen any more so than The Spice Girls Movie. What is it then? What is the problem? Someoboay had the patience to give me a cartoon that is disturbing and makes me cringe a little bit. Violence - South Park. Violence - The Simpsons. VIOLENCE - all over TV. You know what makes me cringe? Do you know what really makes me want to protectmy children from? Let me tell you - the ASHLEE SIMPSON PHENOMENON. Now that is more horrific than anythign i ever seen by David Firth. To me, ASHLEE SIMPSON, BRITNEY SPEARS, CHRISTINA AGUILLEREREAARE needs to all be kept fomr our children and young teens. THOSE people will warp minds. Not violence. in fact, I think those MTV rejects make children psycho more so than SALAD FINGERS or the MILKMAN cartoon...at least those are cartoons... AND FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO SAY SOMETHING ABOUT MY SPELLING OR TYPING... F*&^ YOU!

Salad Fingers was alright...but the other one...

Salad fingers was okay. It was, like Tiefling said, "Creepy. And yet strangely funny."

The 'Milkman,' however, is a completely different story. yuck

I didn't watch the whole thing, but what I saw was enough to scar me for the rest of my life yuck . (mymla's analysis didn't do me much good either White laugh )

I didn't want to hurt your feelings, guys

nocturnal_anonymous:
Where do you get sexual pleasure from scratching a healing wound?

If you already were scarred for the rest of your life by a simple outline of the process, are you sure you _really_ want to hear the details? White laugh
hungarian kid:
I wouldn't say sexual, too many things are said to be related to sexual pleasure but I think that's just utter BS! I think it's probably more the pleasure of scratching your feet on something prickly (like a brush) after being in shoes all day or walking on sand that kinda scratches them, giving this kinda of massaging feeling!

I totally agree that too many things are considered to have something to do with sex whereas they don't, but in this particular case I was talking about my personal experience, so I know exactly what connections it had.
The prickly massage feeling... Is it about scratching a heeling wound? I would agree then. Or about Salad Fingers? That is an understatement then.

WHAT? I learned something new, I guess
Never mind, I don't really want to know... White laugh

Salad fingers

I loved salad fingers the voices and images were disturbing yet funny salad fingers is an amazing charcter everyone is his friend in a strange way.

except that little kid but i think that episode was meant to be drug related with the tap flying.

We all want to find a deeper meaning in salad fingers mabye there is or the writer is just sick it coulb be that simple. Also relating to milkman it was terrible but right at the end when he saw the kid and the trail of blood i thought that was a good scene he almost looked like he was sorry.

Salad Fingers is NOT Itchy and Scratchy

Someone said that Salad Fingers in nothing special just because it's violent. Well the difference between Itchy + Scratchy, Halloween etc. and Salad Fingers is that the disturbing things in the former are what you see, and that's all, it's surface deep. To me, Salad Fingers is about what you DON'T see. Yes, you are made to feel uneasy and sometimes assaulted emotionally by the nightmarish landscape his fantasy/reality paints, by the shrieks which pass as language which Mr SF seems quite happy with. But I get this feeling, which intrigues and disturbs even more, that if we got to see the whole story, we'd feel a lot worse.

Particularly episode V. There is something going on there which I'm sure Mr. Firth is suggesting but I don't want to start suggesting anything. One of the things that makes SF so clever/disturbing is that we are left to our own imaginations to fill in the holes - if you have strong fears of the unknown, you're best not watching these.

Oh, thought I'd add a link to this info on Salad Fingers which has made it into the Urban Dictionary.com. Read definition three, some food for thought there. Not sure I agree with it, but it's a good opinion and will hopefully get your thinking. Smile
