Salad Fingers is genius. Yes, its disturbing, violent, it gives you shivers, that's what its intended to do. If you don't want to see something like that then don't watch them. Its like you see one, you know what its all about, you say you don't like it yet you keep going back for more. AND David Firth warned you of his explicit and disturbing flash movies you'll see it on the cartoons page of his website  Here it is for those fuckers with such closed minds they cant appreciate the freakish genius of David Firths art. Some are dark, some are silly, most are wierd. Just let them soak in to your insides and give you a warm feeling. The warning has now been upgraded to BOLD, so you really have your self to blame if you are the complaining type. They're all pretty small in size, so even people connected to the internet through their Sega Master Systems will be able to watch them. I've also provided the links to them on NEWGROUNDS, so you must go there and give me 5/5! WARNING! Reeeeally disturbing, I went to a friends house and she's like "Watch this, it's cooool" the videos only go for like 4 minutes but they feel like 30 minutes... of absolute disturbance! If you enjoy being disturbed (like watching Salad Fingers) check out Aphex Twin music videos! Salad Fingers is a bit too disturbing, I'm not obligated to watch the rest, the one I saw was enough! Not really funny in any instantly noticable way! It is kinda arty though, I'll give it that!  Have you seen chris cunningham independent film about rubber johnny? this has aphex twin music this is the most beatiful I had ever seen on my life; creative, alucinating and OMFG i cant believe it.  About salad fingers, it had some sense for me and maybe more psicological sense, maybe a good homework for psicology students, analyze it, i will give you some tips and parting with this you can start (any way this is that i understood) three marionets, hubert (the assasin side of salad fingers), jeremy fisher (himself) after post-traumatic experience in a war, the red haired girl marionete maybe some victim of him. This weak have multiple personality disorder, and this cartoons show you story from the madness viewpoint of salad fingers, all character are persons in his life describing his experience of murders by his hands, take a look with this and i will keep watching.  This is the best explanation ive heard on urban dictionary.com salad fingers is possibly an ordinary looking man, in an ordinary world, with an unordianry life. He is very mentally ill, depressed and unmedicated, or at least refuses to take it. What we see in salad fingers episodes is how salad fingers sees the world. Being depressed and mentally ill he sees himself as the way we see him and also sees an otherwise thriving world as post apocolyptic. His friends and those he encounters are all figments of his imagination from a combination of mental illness and lonliness. Favor of rust and blood also comes from his mental illness. Salad fingers lives in an apartment in the city, apartment number 22. However he is a lonley isolated man, and therefore he sees his apartment as being just one small house in the middle of nowhere. He has no contact with any other human beings whatsoever, until episode 5, where he interacts with a girl he originally thought was a product of his imagination but turned out to be real. This is signified by her being the only other character in the series other then salad fingers that can speak. Because he simply did not know how to be with real people, he broke down. There is no word yet as to if he ever fully recovered. posted by Kupov |

Reading this thread made me want to watch Salad fingers again and look what i found.  Cool episode, hints at the fact that the world salad fingers lives in may be post nuclear war and he is one of the few survivors. Myxo: hubert (the assasin side of salad fingers) Maybe considering in this episode Salad Fingers (Hubert Cummberdale) discovers the dead body of his "older brother kenneth" (who salad fingers seems to resent) and takes him home to his house, kenneth is back from the "great war" and salad figners mentions it was rather rude for everyone to leave without him, he also burns kenneth with boiling water on purpose. posted by Kupov |
