 Fuuuck, this game kicks the crap out of the original CounterStrike! I fucking hated Counter Strike but this game is actually fun! But I was just playing it then and then I realised the fucking detail! Gargh, it's insane, I was literally shooting the individual keys off a keyboard! I was shooting out the indiviual parts of a computer! I could see sticks of ram that I'd shot out while the motherboard and all the rest of the crap was still in! Some screen shots - In that screenshot of the keyboard, the white and grey blocks are actually keys I've shot out of the keyboard! In that last picture you can see keyboard keys on the table, two harddrives in the corner under the table and two sticks of ram to the left near the middle of the picture, ha I don't have to point that out, but it's still pretty fucking amazing, especially for an online game!  ...the hit boxes are all messed up, you can do thirty head shots and not one hits the target, now you can spray a target and they go down whereas in the origonal that would get you dead faster than shoving a pencil in your eye. Hope they sort it out soon as i'm not playing it otherwise, i'd rather stick with 1.6 posted by Crossfade |

 ...but one thing I have noticed is that bursting is far more effective in CS:S, especially with the AK-47. posted by northern_james |

...walk into a room and spray, 9 times out of 10 you'll get a ton of headshots and the place will drop! Where's the fuckin skill in that?

...bursting is letting of 2-4 shots in one burst, then dodging and waiting for the crosshairs to converge again, and then letting off another burst, etc. Spraying has got me nowhere in CS:S.

...what you call burst i call full-auto/semi-auto. But my complaint still stands, just emptying a clip at someone never used to work, now it's damn effective. You can actually see what i mean about miss-aligned hitbox's when you shoot someone running and you can see the blood splatter either ahead or behind the target.
