How do you know they are facts?
Any choice in words they use presents bias. Ill give an example:

"Accused soldier's lawyers to grill head of US forces "

Notice the words "grill" and "head" this brings up connotations of cannibalism, giving negative connotations to the soldier and his lawyers. I also gives the impression that the lawyers are winning the case against the US forces.

Sorry to be pedantic, but im revising for the news section of my media studies exam and this is the kind of thing you have to write

There is Trimming (don't mentioning small deviations from the wanted stories), Forging (telling lies) and Cooking.

Cooking is very common: You simply select the facts you want your readers to read. Thus telling the truth doesn't mean that you are unbiased

Well ABC gives the most facts as far as I can tell, not unless they're getting more then people thought.

ABC has interviews with Weapons Inspectors who've quit because of the lack of ANY proof and Ten has ... a woman who's meant to be attractive as a News reader and Nine gives it's opinion when News is supposed to just be about facts. I GET SO ANGRY when I hear the Nine and Seven current affair readers give their oppionons.
