knn: Drew on white paper and no picture of a car underneath it? Indeed, free drawn from a reference image. I don't think I could make it look that decent by tracing. These are thick white pages these are drawn on, so there is no slightly transparent factor to them. I would have to draw on a transparency sheet to be able to trace, and then I could use pencil. It just wouldn't work for me, and it defeats the whole point of doing a drawing then. Right now w/o practice I probably can't draw someone that well straight from memory nor be able to draw someone in a totally different scene than what is in a picture. But with a few years more practice, perhaps. posted by volonteshiva |

sangu: Quote: I haven't been about to get back into drawing for a few years now. what the title said. Hopefully I am nearing the end of my multi-year "Fight Club hitting bottom" phase which has kept me rather depressed and uncreative. I have felt like there is dampener around my brain for sometime and I don't feel motivated to be creative in art, writing, science, exercise, etc. It's a sad, "you are a dumbass" tale that I have self-enacted. If I can just get a decent job and make enough money to pay off some school bills then I want to believe the weight will be lifted off me. However, I can't seem to motivate myself to do much before that will happen years from now... posted by volonteshiva |
