Survive the day to day challenges of a world torn apart by fueds, wars, political struggles and alien invasion - pretty routine really 
I found a site with a load of maps. They have maps to print out and look at as well as maps which plug-in to the game for use while playing.  I've included a sample of their "huge Map", but I had to shrink it down to 1/4 x 1/4 size to fit on here.

btw what is the game play like? is it turn based like MxO will be? Kinda - exploring and stuff is real-time doom style. Once combat starts, it's kind of automatic - you attack them, they attack you and the system works out how fast you can each attack and what damage you do - traditional RPG style. But during the attack, you get to do stuff too, healing for example, employing special attacks and using spells, nano programs or whatever. You also retain full control of the character so you can move about to take advantage of range differences, and if things get sticky, run away. I suppose it's the best way, since it's not about how fast the player is but how fast the character is. Even the best players will still get creamed if their character is naff. First time I pressed some unknown combination of keys to shutdown by accident when it was at 90 percent, second time the computer reset because of a harddrive space problem when it was at 30 percent! Yeah, you can have multiples characters (only play one at a time). So I started a fresh one, hopefully to avoid some of the mistakes of my first - and to allow us to team up for jobs - you can't team up if your levels are too different. For this one, I chose the Nickname "IMO_Marl" but it missed out the underscore and made it lower case so it comes out "imomarl" I left him sat near the medic on "Newbee Island" so we could meet up if you like. The only thing is that they have multiple instances of the island and you don't know which one you'll get, so we might have to wait until we get to the mainland to go for a beer

No matter, in the meantime you could read up on how to get the best character at  Particularly the four "Comprehensive Newbie guides" - they help make some sense from the barrage of options 
When you log-in for the first time, make sure you pick the same server that HK and one of my dudes is on. If you become Clan or Omni, you get an experience bonus so there's an advantage in picking early. If you choose Clan, you'll end up in the same town (and on the same side as HK and me). It might take me three days to find him. HK, I'm in West Athen now with my Clan Guy - which is your apartment block? If we get one in the same place we've more chance of bumping into each other. In fact all the people from IMO should take over one block
