 Zack, once the singer of Rage Against the Machine, has probably become nothing more than a memory to all of you! But he's still doing stuff! While the remnants of Rage teamed up with Soundgardens singer and made Audioslave, Zack's now doing a solo rap career! A little info - We Want it All is the name of Zack de la Rocha's new track scheduled to be in Michael Moore's upcoming compilation CD(released October 5th). It is NOT "March of Death" as rumored by some people. Its a totally new track. Michael Moore on Zack de la Rocha: " Zack, the lead singer of the greatest rock band of the '90s, Rage Against the Machine, is, in person, the most gentle of souls you will ever meet. But when he gets in the studio or on the stage, a fire erupts that consumes all who listen. This is his first song in five years and it's a barn burner!  I've been pretty disappointed w/Zach ever since he left RATM. At first, it was being reported that he was making an album w/Questlove from the Roots. Since I'm a big fan of the Roots, I was very excited for this. But that was about 3 yrs. ago! Now, I fear that unless Zach can reconsile his differences w/RATM, he and his album will fall into the depths of the lost...  posted by GP |

The ONEder Man: what i've heard of the roots they are pretty good, can you recomend and albums or songs GP? Pretty much every album they've put out is really good but my favorites are Phrenology, Things Fall Apart, and Do You Want More. If you're looking for a good single, their latest, "Don't Say Nuthin'" is pretty good but "The Seed, 2.0" is my favorite. posted by GP |
