Crossfade: ...and do you know of any easy missions i could do so i can get a bow/crossbow? Funny you should mention this. There's a little utility you can download which searches for missions for you. You tell it the basic parameters (the ones from the mission screen) and then add axtra details like
Then you click go and it searches the mission bank. Each search costs you 9 creds, but it's worth it not to have to do it manually.   Also theres a shedload of other useful links here

i can't get click saver to work, i tried to run it with out anarchy playing already and it asked for the anarchy directory, i showed it but it didn't like it...any pointers? or does anarchy have to be running for this thing to work? posted by The ONEder Man |

...it has to be running and you click a mission terminal to bring up the sliders box, make sure that box is square in the top left hand corner. Click on 'set sliders' in clicksave and it will move the mouse pointer to each slider so you know it's in the right position, if not just move it so it is. open the 'items' tab in CS and put in what you wanna find like armor or weapons and then click the 'start buying agent' and it will throw up matching(or what it thinks are matching) missions in the terminal window posted by Crossfade |

Crossfade: it has to be running but it doesn't start running it goes to the bracket-like construct of my computer A: D: E: desktop with the + to go a folder down with the heading "find the AO directory" i also read in the read-me file "Installation ------------ There's pretty much nothing needed to install CLickSaver itself. Just copy it somewhere. The two DLLs (AOHook.dll and madCodeHookLib.dll) must be in the same directory as ClickSaver.exe itself. (it's recommended to put it all in it's own directory though) On first run, it asks for AO directory. i've since tried to run it again, even once more while AO was running but to no avail posted by The ONEder Man |

I tend to run Clicksaver before AO, so it definately doesn't need to be running. So it looks like it's the first run that's the problem. So here's my setup (it might help) Anarchy Online is installed on Drive E: - E:\Anarchy Online I put Clicksaver in a sub folder of this - E:\Anarchy Online\Clicksaver It creates (and subsequently updates) a config file called "LastSettings.cs" ::Config::

The the other thing it does is create a database called "AODatabase.bdb" which is about 75 Meg - this may take a while but needs to be done. I've included the whole directory from my system (minus the 75 Meg database) for you to compare.

I made a new directory to see exactly what it asks - to give you something to compare to. First - as you stated - it askes for the folder Second, it tells you that the Database is missing or outdated and asks you if you want to update it. This is nothing to do with your AO data, it's the Clicksaver database it wants to create - so let it. How far is it getting?
