  wow. that was a shocker. i haven't been keeping up with the lakers lately, i admit, im a bandwagon fan. lakers have lost their aura. period. anyway, he cites his health as the reason he's not doing good. uhuh. right. coverup or the truth? so what u guys think? im waiting for his tell-all book to come out, heheh, another juicy piece of insight. phil's bk was pretty cool. posted by sangu |

 sangu: anyway, he cites his health as the reason he's not doing good. uhuh. right. coverup or the truth? Actually, it is the truth. Rudy T has a plethora of health problems. First of all, his NBA career (he was a damn good baller) was ended when he almost DIED after being sucker-punched in a game by Kermit Washington. From that, he became an alcoholic which certainly ravages the body. Then, a couple of years ago, he had to give up his job at the Rockets because of cancer or Hodgkin's disease...I can't remember. I'm sure the fact that the Lakers suck had something to do w/it, but I'm almost positive that the main reason is Rudy T's health. Supposedly, the Lakers are considering trying to bring back Phil Jackson...wait, isn't that the same Phil that said about Kobe, "This kid won't listen to anybody...I've had it with him."

i knew rudy had a long list of history problems, including the famous punch, but had to be sure. a pity..a pity, he was a good coach. he, i quote, had "steak and fries" after every win, uhum, that should leave you with health problems. posted by sangu |

 GP: when he almost DIED after being sucker-punched in a game by Kermit Washington Kind of ironic that Rudy resigns just a couple days after Washington got his first coaching job (in the NBDL).  karl and reggie retired... what is happening? this is all too soon... karl, well, its been an issue lately, we kind of half expected it. i would rather him retire than play for the spurs tho, phew. but reggie was a shocker. who knew...he is 39 though. hah, my latest memory of him was when he took a three and was called for an offensive foul: he kicked his legs forward and into the oncoming defender on a fadeaway three, creating room to shoot. that was funny. posted by sangu |

 reggie was a good player who never got a ring, same with malone. possibly the greatest of the game, they wer talkign how malone might be the greatest power forward of all time to that i say no, but people think that's true. He kinda lost my respect when he moved to the lakers thinking he will get one. it didn't happen old man. he was good in his glory days but is getting old. reggie is old too for the game at least. it will be sad to see him leave. posted by Agent Zero |

WTH? i knew webber had a big contract, but they got skinner, corliss, and some guy for webber? oh my...i should be happy, us lakers and kings aren't exactly best pals, but, sixers got such a good deal. and kings, like the lakers, are deteriorating. So, i heard webber got traded...the sixers should be killing teams wiht webber and AI..AI is a punk ass bitch but he has skills on the court. he is the perfect example of a spoiled athlete. but maybe we see the sixers start to tear up the court. who knows, as for the kings and the lakers, i bet kobe leaves next year. posted by Agent Zero |

Agent Zero: he is the perfect example of a spoiled athlete. why would you think so? as for imo, i think iverson is a pretty tough nut. he is willing to take the hit and give up his body. has "a lot of heart" as the folks at espn say. mhmm, webber and AI, the next dyanamic duo? or the next flop? webber is gone-oh, webber is gone-oh. this is a good day. posted by sangu |
