who is the world's richest man Not true, founder of Ikea, Ingvar Kamprad is! According to The Sun, Gates gave the cheque to the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunisation to help children in developing countries get life-saving medication, and said that the cash was just a 'down-payment'. Hrmm, this is only the beginning, soon it's gonna be more money to more charities! has donated a whopping 400 million dollars to charity. Heh, that's comparitively about 1000 dollars to him. Apparently Gate's has been giving out millions to charity for years, so this isn't really a suprise to me. posted by hungarian kid |

Agent Zero: but if you think about it all our pocket change combined could make a difference right? Of course it could make a difference. Every little thing makes a difference. However, if you think about it, it would take a preetty loong while before the "difference" is noticed if we put our pocket change together to help support charities...rather than a sudden "boom!": 400 million dollars. posted by nocturnal_anonymous |
