The US refuse to accept the of the International Court of Justice (ICC).

If US citizens don't get complete immunity for any kind of crime (including torture committed by soldiers) then the US will drawback from international peace missions and will refuse to pay a few millions $ for several UN puposes (e.g. Unicef ♣).
