It's "cigarettes", with an e, not an a. You got it right on the post, not on the poll. I voted: Holocaust worse than Abortion worse than Cigarattes. posted by Nianza |

How can you put cigarrrreetteees in this poll? Is there some group of secret police rounding people up on trains and forcing them to smoke before they can go home? Do people slice into a pregnant woman and force the baby to like cigarettes before it can be born? Smoking Cigarettes is a personal choice, contrary to all the hype, few people start smoking unaware of the dangers. The Jews had no choice during on of the worlds most recent holocausts Babies have no choice while they are being aborted. posted by GuyFromOH |

GuyFromOH: Smoking Cigarettes is a personal choice Yea, I'm quoting myself, because I know I'll get some message about second hand smoke from Volonteshiva. I'm not trying to say Smoking is not bad, just that it doesn't belong on that list. Second hand smoke is bad, but again, it's nothing like the holocaust or abortion. posted by GuyFromOH |

Smoking is a personal choice. I consider it to be tragic, yes, that so many deaths could be caused by something like that, but it's not an intentional form of killing. posted by Nianza |

Nianza: but it's not an intentional form of killing. No, no, you all misunderstand. Smoking is on the list because country governments allow it while it kills people. The same applies to holocaust and abortion. All 3 are/were legal ways to mass-kill people. I think the comparison: Abortion - Smoking is as valid as Holocaust - Abortion. posted by knn |

Could the government forbid holocaust and save people's lives? YES! Could the government forbid abortion and save human life? YES! Could the government forbid cigarettes and save human life? YES! Whether you legalize spreading drugs into the society (= allow slow killing) or allow abortion (fast killing) or do it yourself (enforced killing) is VERY comparable. Moreover even if you DON'T like to compare it then your answer is still either
