 ryder: Korn's "Make me bad", "Did my time", "Y'all want a single" (this video kinda rocks too), "No one's there"... Woo... someone else that like's them. Heh I've been a Korn fan since I was 7, easily one of my favourite bands. Heh... to the extent where I actually liked their last two albums. I don't just like metal/hardrock, I mean I recommended the Shins. Checkout 'Mine's Not A High Horse' & 'Caring is Creepy' by the Shins. A rap group I really like is the Gravediggaz. Some of their songs really fit well into just rythmy blues. Check out '1-800 Suicide' and 'Constant Elevation'. Recently I've also been getting into 'George Clinton & Pariliament Funkadelic'. They're pretty awesome, think the bass player's Snoop Doggs uncle. Listen to 'Atomic Dog' for a pretty memorable phrase heh... 'We Want the Funk' is pretty cool... just check out a lot of their stuff, seems to be the first group to have rap. posted by hungarian kid |

 Album-wise for Korn I'm not sure any one is the best.. I would say "Untouchables".. yeah what about you HK? I'm curious.. Also

... Heh I specifically meant the songs she listed... most people hate that stuff. Kupov: you must have been an...odd seven year old to say the least Heh yeah... I heard Twist and just though "this is fucking awesome.." I couldn't get into any of those other bands, I hated Blink 182 and all that stuff... I really liked Prodigy though, Breathe was my favourite song for a while. Kupov: Hk I just got into korn and was planning on buying an album, which one would you suggest? Ummm... The first and second one (S/t and Life Is Peachy) are their rawest. A lot of people just like these two albums, they're the generically liked ones. Follow the Leader is probably their best, really brilliant layering of riffs on it and some awesome rap/metal tracks (yeah they exist.) Issues was sort of their album where fans of the first two albums started to hate them, I quite like this album as a whole... an example of what it's like is the song Falling Away From Me. Untouchables was a lot more experimental and had a lot less input from Head, it has one of their heaviest tracks, pretty different from their other albums. Has some weird 'Duran Duran' sort of influence to it or something. Take A Look In The Mirror is the most generically metal, still got that Korn sound to it though. So I recommend Follow the Leader as your first album. Heh I really recommend all the albums otherwise, each one has a different sound to it, nice variation between each one. posted by hungarian kid |

That's true.. some of my all-time Korn favourites are from Follow the Leader  . I didn't realise many didn't like Untouchables.. at the same time, I'm the only girl I know right now that listens to Korn. Of course, that's only here.. posted by ryder |

Hah I'm getting a 7-string guitar in a months time, so I'll be able to finally be able to play Korn songs without having to tune down to drop A on the bottom 3 strings and F on the top 3.
